Overview

The Live Speaker Demo Extension enables demonstration of Live Speaker's video generation capabilities on any website. This privacy policy explains what data is collected and how it is used.

The extension is designed for demonstration and evaluation purposes by publishers, content managers, and decision makers exploring Live Speaker's AI-powered video generation platform.

Data Collected by Extension

Configuration Data (Stored Locally)

• Live Speaker ID: User-provided configuration identifier
• Extension Settings: Demo enabled/disabled state

Storage Location: Chrome Storage API (sync storage - synced across user's Chrome browsers when signed in)

No Personal Data Collection

Data Collected by Live Speaker SDK

When the extension generates a video on a webpage, the bundled Live Speaker SDK collects:

Page Content Data (Sent to Live Speaker API)

• Page URL
• Page title
• Article/content text (extracted from main content area)
• Page author (if available in metadata)
• Page language
• Meta description and keywords

Purpose: Generate AI-powered video from page content

Video Player Analytics

• Player Events: Play, pause, volume changes, viewing progress (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)
• Session Data: Session ID (generated), session duration
• Viewport Tracking: Player visibility in viewport (entered/exited view)
• Device Information: User agent, screen size, device type (mobile/desktop), touch capabilities
• Referrer: Page referrer URL

Purpose: Video player functionality and performance monitoring

Application Insights Telemetry

• Service: Microsoft Application Insights
• Data Sent: Player events, errors, performance metrics (if enabled in SDK configuration)
• IP Address: Captured automatically by Application Insights service
• Configuration: Controlled by Live Speaker backend (not configurable in extension)

• Live Speaker ID used to authenticate with Live Speaker platform
• Configuration stored locally for user convenience
